A Talent Attraction Event in a Box

by | Apr 22, 2024

When coaching hiring managers, I often talk about the importance of talent attraction events and how they fit into a healthy lead generation strategy.

It integrates with other lead generation strategies in the following manner:

A talent attraction event is something you organize not only for the benefit of your own agents, but also for your recruiting prospects.

Talent attraction events are often training/education oriented, but they can also be inspirational, social, or networking events.

If you’ve never done a talent attraction event, we have a great opportunity for you to give it a try.

For the benefit of our readers, we have partnered with Coach Travis Robertson to offer a free “Talent Attraction Event in a Box” on May 1st.

Travis will conduct an in-depth online training event titled:

Mastering Commission Negotiation in 2024 & Beyond

This online event will provide your agents (and your recruiting prospects) valuable insight navigating the upcoming changes to buy-side commissions.

The event will be held on Wednesday, May 1st @ 12pm ET / 9am PT.

To turn this into a talent attraction event, set up a “watch party” for agents in your office and invite your recruiting prospects to join as well.

The training will last 60 minutes.

Set aside enough time to attend the training, and then hold a live

implementation discussion after the online session is complete.

To get this on your schedule, register for the event, and then start promoting it with your agents and prospects.

You’ll be on your way to creating your first (or next) talent attraction event.

PS.  Did you attend our Recruiting Mastermind with Travis last Wednesday?  If not, watch the replay.  It was one of the best masterminds we’ve held this year, and it outlined more details on how to hold killer talent attraction events in your office.

The Attrition Variables

The Attrition Variables

While these attrition constants still have the greatest influence, there are some emerging attrition variables worth noting. People also tend to leave companies when: They feel like they’re not doing as well as others in their peer group outside the company. They feel like they’re not as far along as they should be at a certain point in life.

The Attrition Constants

The Attrition Constants

If you’re not focusing most of your retention effort on these issues, you’ll miss the mark. If you’re not focusing most of your recruiting effort on exploiting these weaknesses among your competitors, you’re missing the best opportunities.

The Persistence Mindset

The Persistence Mindset

A leader equipped with this mindset can have a profound effect on the life and career of each individual they engage. It works because an agent is getting a real-time glimpse of what it would be like to work on your team. But it only becomes believable when it is persistently applied over time.
