The Persistence Mindset

by | Jun 18, 2026

Yesterday, we talked about how pressure repels and persistence attracts.

Leaders who use persistence to attract look at their recruiting work through a different lens.

According to Mark, they tend to have these four mindset characteristics:

Genuine Care:  They truly believe people are better off working with them and at their brokerage.  They are changing lives and careers.

Confidence:  They sincerely believe in their abilities and their offerings. Their actions, words, and questions make the difference.

Targeted Solutions:  They deeply understand the situation each of their prospects is facing and speak to their specific goals and frustrations. Certainty is more influential than enthusiasm.

Multiple Reasons to Move Forward:  They offer value beyond a single event or set of circumstances. They provide unique insights that are compelling to each unique prospect.

A leader equipped with this mindset can have a profound effect on the life and career of each individual they engage.

It works because an agent is getting a real-time glimpse of what it would be like to work on your team.

But it only becomes believable when it is persistently applied over time.
