Fire Your Excuses

When your recruiting time block pops up on your calendar, have any of these thoughts crossed your mind?

-I’m too busy to make calls today.

-Prospects don’t answer calls on Fridays anyway.

-Someone is at my door that needs help.

-My energy level is really low right now.

-The market seems to be stalled.

-It’s spring, and agents are too busy to take recruiting calls.

-My recruiting database needs some work.

-I wish we were able to generate better leads for our agents.

-I wonder if my prospects are getting annoyed with me.

-The script I’m using doesn’t seem to be working.

-It’s the end of the month, I need to make sure my agents are doing OK.

-Maybe I should double-up my time block tomorrow–I think I’ll be more focused.

-I’ve lost two agents this month–maybe I should be working on retention.

-Interest rates are up again.

-How am I going to compete with the splits _______ are offering?

-Feeling jittery, I wonder if my blood sugar is low.

I’m sure some of these thoughts have crossed your mind and maybe many more.
